York cybersecurity firm gears up for “rapid” 2021 growth with new legal partner
A York-based cybersecurity and digital transformation specialist is making plans for “rapid” growth with the appointment of a new legal partner.
Digital specialist boxxe has partnered with Yorkshire law firm Gordons ahead of the planned expansion of its team and headquarters next year.
Gordons will provide boxxe with employment and property-related advice as the company continues its recruitment drive, with plans to hire an additional 13 staff before 2021.
The company, which specialises in cybersecurity and digital transformation solutions for the likes of the Ministry of Defence and the NHS, is also set to move into its new 20,000 sq ft headquarters at Artemis House in Heworth Green.
News of boxxe’s partnership follows the unveiling of the firm’s new brand earlier this year. Formerly known as SBL, the company has undergone a full rebrand as well as welcoming new CRO Joel Berwitz to its senior team.
Finance director at boxxe, Paul Jenkins, commented: “Gordons has great experience in both the technology sector and in acting for fast-growing companies.
“They also understand our style and culture. These attributes make the firm the ideal legal partner for us.”
Gordons’ digital and technology specialist, Ryan Gracey, added: “It’s great to be working with Paul and the team at boxxe.
“They are doing some extraordinary things when it comes to digital transformation. There is an energy and excitement about the business as it continues to grow, and it’s good to be playing our part in helping them make their vision a reality.”
