Theatrical agent launches London fitness firm as entertainment industry struggles

A London theatrical agent has announced that she is launching a new fitness service as the entertainment industry is impacted by the pandemic.

Becky Barrett, who places performers in West End shows, has launched BBM Fitness, a personalised fitness consultation service designed to help clients adapt to the ‘new normal’.

After 20 years in the arts industry, Becky identified a number of artists on her books were also qualified fitness instructors and decided to create the new company.

Becky commented: “With so many changes to our everyday lives, it can be hard to stay focused on scheduling exercise to keep our physical and mental health a priority.”

“As a talent manager working in the arts and things were put on hold, I was having so many conversations with artists who were hoping to expand their client reach and at the same time the public were struggling to find new, innovative and varied routines to help them stay fit and healthy.”

“BBM Fitness offers a highly personalised, engaging and empathetic approach to the current challenges we’ve all faced, from helping those who may feel a little lost by doing the thinking for you to tailoring exercise programmes to your needs - you might even get something with a west-end twist.”

“Whether you don’t know where to start, want more variety to stay motivated or maybe a reason to catch-up socially with friends online, BBM Fitness will nurture your goals and help you find your inner resilience to help you achieve them.”
