Rosalind Chan, Labtech
Labtech has announced the appointment of a new marketing director.
Rosalind Chan will join as marketing director for its flexible workspace brand, LABS and serviced apartment arm, STAY.
Rosalind joins the company following two years at The Office Group (TOG), where she was responsible for the development and execution of brand and product marketing strategy.
Her immediate focus will be on responding to client needs with space solutions.
Rosalind commented: “I’m excited to join the team at this time of change and growth. Given the outstanding product offering and robust financial backing by the global property investment company Labtech, LABS and STAY are uniquely placed to challenge and disrupt the flexible workspace and serviced apartment markets – something I’m delighted to be part of.”

Sophie Sheard, AML Group
London-based ad agency AML Group has appointed Sophie Sheard to the role of account manager.
Sophie joins from the marketing agency Campaign Works, where she worked across a broad portfolio of clients in the financial and hospitality sectors including the Hilton EMEA account.
She commented: “AML has such a great reputation and I feel really fortunate to be part of a hugely talented team working on some top brands and on projects that I am passionate about.”

Jonathan Kini, Ofwat
A new non-executive director has been appointed to water services authority Ofwat.
Jonathan Kini, managing director at TalkTalk Business has been appointed non-executive director of Ofwat.
Jonathan will continue to lead TalkTalk Business, which he joined in 2019 to spearhead the ‘levelling up’ of essential services.
He commented: “I’m delighted to be joining Ofwat’s board, an opportunity which felt like such a natural fit for me.
“The consumer-centred approach is one that strongly resonates with me and this opportunity aligns with my key ambitions in my role at TalkTalk Business.
“I’m looking forward to working alongside the rest of the board to help make improvements for consumers in a way that protects our environment to generate a positive impact that will be felt not only in our lifetimes, but in those of future generations too.”
Misha Dhanak and Gizen Akyil, Spacehive
A place-based funding platform has announced the appointment of a new CEO and VP of Growth.
Marketing leader Misha Dhanak, the co-founder and former CEO of agency The Romans is taking on the role of CEO at Spacehive.
The company has also announced the appointment of Gizem Akyil as VP of Growth to drive development of the technology platform.
Gizem was the former head of expansion at Deliveroo, where she developed and implemented the operational and commercial growth strategies that helped the company to expand across the UK and internationally.

Luke Graham, Tyto
A London technology PR agency has announced the appointment of a new features editor.
Tyto has appointed City A.M. business features writer Luke Graham to the newly created role of features editor.
As features editor at Tyto, Graham’s role will see him lead on content strategy and execution for several accounts, produce long-form content across the agency’s client portfolio and provide ongoing media consultation to the agency’s growing media unit.
Brendon Craigie, Tyto co-founder and managing partner, commented: “Luke is a journalist who the team at Tyto had long admired, so to be able to add him to our team feels like a real coup.
