Victoria Leadley, Clarion
Clarion has appointed Victoria Leadley as a legal director in its commercial and IT practice.
With 17 years’ legal experience, Victoria has held a number of in-house roles, having trained as a lawyer with BAE Systems plc.
Victoria then spent almost ten years with a law firm in Newcastle upon Tyne as managing associate in its commercial team, advising both private and public sector bodies on a range of commercial issues, as well as undertaking a number of secondments with businesses.
Victoria joins from British Engines where she spent nearly four years as legal counsel and compliance officer, providing legal advice to all businesses within the group.
Victoria’s knowledge includes drafting, negotiating and advising on all types of commercial and IT agreements. Her experience ranges from agency and distribution agreements to purchasing and outsourcing agreements; as well as advising on data protection, governance and confidentiality.

Richard Major and Kim Sinton, Garbutt + Elliott
Accountancy and advisory firm Garbutt + Elliott has appointed Richard Major as private clients partner and Kim Sinton as private clients advisor.
Richard joins from DSW Private Client Tax LLP, bringing a range of experience to his new role.
Kim worked alongside Richard at DSW Private Client Tax LLP as a tax manager and is an experienced tax advice specialist. Both will be based in the firm’s Leeds office covering the West Yorkshire area.

Jaime Dodd and Charlotte Massey, Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP
Law firm Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP has appointed Jaime Dodd as associate and Charlotte Massey as senior paralegal.
Jaime brings over seven years’ property experience to the role, while Charlotte has worked in property law for over six years.

Damian Protano, Jetglow
Aircraft interiors specialist Jetglow has appointed Damian Protano as senior sales VP.
With over a decade of experience within the aviation sector, Damian brings a range of knowledge to the Jetglow team, having worked primarily in the aircraft interiors and leasing community and with international and regional carriers.
In his new role Damian plans to utilise his knowledge and expertise harnessed over the last decade to expand Jetglow’s international marketplace.
Damian commented: “I am delighted to have been brought on board by Jetglow. I believe we are now seeing some light at the end of the tunnel during what has been an enormously challenging time for the aviation industry.

Matthew Dobbie, Clive Owen LLP
Clive Owen LLP has appointed Matthew Dobbie as a trainee accountant.
Matthew has joined the firm from property developers Caddick Developments, and is currently working to complete his accounting technician degree.
Matthew was educated at Tadcaster Grammar School before moving on to Selby College to study a Level 2 Foundation Diploma in accounting and business.

Gayle Summers, The Nostell Estate
Business community The Nostell Estate has recently appointed Gayle Summers as administrator.
Gayle joins the Nostell Estate from The Ice Company in South Kirby, where she was receptionist for nine years.
In the newly created role, Gayle will assist in letting the few remaining available office spaces on the estate, while providing support and information to existing tenants.

“We’re really excited for her to play such a pivotal role supporting the businesses here and the future developments we have planned for the estate.”
