Doncaster shopping centre covers new ground with launch of face mask store

A new shop focusing on face masks has launched at a retail shopping centre in Doncaster.

The Mask Shop, which offers machine-washable fashion face masks that restrict the spread of germs and droplets, has opened at Lakeside Village.

Demand for face masks has risen across the country this year following the spread of coronavirus and government requirements for face coverings, prompting the launch of the shop.

Customers can also choose from bandana patterns, pop art designs and leopard print masks and for children there are mermaid, dinosaur, Lego and unicorn prints to make wearing a face covering a little more fun.

Di Rodgers, centre manager at Lakeside Village, commented: “Masks are something we all need right now but as well as being effective lots of people also want face coverings that are stylish, too and that is where The Mask Shop comes into its own.

“With plenty of options to choose from that combine ear loop fittings for optimal comfort with durable fabric, there really is something for every taste.

“We’re really pleased to welcome the Mask Shop to Lakeside Village and hope our customers will pay them a visit soon.”
