Zohreh Mohammadi, GridBeyond
Energy technology company GridBeyond has appointed Zohreh Mohammadi as its new market strategy manager in the UK.
Zohreh has joined the UK team with a wealth of knowledge gained over a nine year long career in the energy sector.
Her experience includes designing technology platforms that meet the demands of the transitioning energy markets, developing expansion strategies for smart grid businesses, and engaging with the regulatory stakeholders in energy flexibility markets.
Zohreh has a doctorate in electrical power and a master’s degree in power and energy, both from the University of Warwick. She also possesses an in-depth understanding of the development and implementation of AI-based technologies.
At GridBeyond, Zohreh will be responsible for supporting business expansion and optimising commercial opportunities via thorough research and analysis of the European market trends and regulatory landscapes.

Cuong Do, Curve
A London fintech has announced the appointment of Cuong Do as an independent board director.
Curve, the London-based fintech that combines multiple cards and accounts into one card and app, has named Cuong Do as an independent board director.
Cuong was most recently president of the Samsung Global Strategy Group, where he was responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide strategy and building out Samsung’s business plans.
Before Samsung, Cuong was the chief strategy officer for Merck, TE Connectivity and Lenovo. He was also a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, where he helped to construct its healthcare, high tech and corporate finance practices.

David Walker, Visionable
British health technology company Visionable has announced the appointment of David Walker to the newly created position of chief commercial officer (CCO).
David is the company’s first CCO, and will be responsible for developing and creating new partnerships with international organisations to expand Visionable’s presence.
He has leadership experience in a range of industries, having held senior commercial roles at Sky Television, Dyson, fintech Neyber, and most recently as CCO of AI based technology company Winnow.
David commented: “I was drawn to Visionable because of the company’s clear dedication to its mission to make healthcare more equitable and accessible for all and its proposition that is changing healthcare as we know it: creating advanced, efficient systems that deliver better outcomes for both patients and professionals.

Jack Williamson, Workthere
Workthere has announced the appointment of Jack Williamson as a director and head of Workthere UK.
Jack joins from Farebrother Chartered Surveyors, where he was made their youngest partner and was responsible for leading on a variety of projects across Central London, specialising in Midtown and the South Bank, as well as overseeing their flexible office space joint venture business.
At Workthere, Jack will be responsible for the UK market and growing Workthere’s presence in London and also on a regional scale, working with start-ups, scale-ups and larger corporate businesses seeking flexible workspace.

Runar Reistrup, YunoJuno
Freelancer platform YunoJuno has appointed Runar Reistrup as its new CEO.
Runar was formerly CEO of fashion marketplace Depop, and was also part of the founding team of mobile social network ZYB.
He will lead YunoJuno’s further expansion as it capitalises on its growth over the past twelve months, alongside the demand by its multinational clients to utilise YunoJuno’s technology.
Runar said: “I’ve been impressed by how Shib, Hugo and the team have built one of the most impactful, community-driven, companies to come out of the UK in recent years and I’m excited to join and help build on what YunoJuno has accomplished to date.”
