London residential developer sets out national expansion plans

A London residential developer has set out plans to expand into new towns across the UK.

Anthology, owned by Lifestory, has announced that it is aiming to expand into new areas as it looks for opportunities of 100 homes or more.

The business is exploring opportunities that are “rich with demand” for homes and part of communities that are undergoing or about to embark upon the wider regeneration in UK towns and cities.

Lifestory Group, which was launched at the end of 2019 through the merger of later living specialists Pegasus and Renaissance with open market developer Anthology, has announced wider plans to acquire sites over the next five years with the aim of creating more than 5,000 homes.

Mark Dickinson, CEO at Lifestory, commented: “Following the merger, we have spent time refining our business strategy and embedding a new regional structure which means we are now well placed to fulfil our ambitious plans for growth to help support the national housing challenge.

“Whilst we are committed to expanding the Anthology brand and product outside the capital, we are equally keen to grow our independent retirement living portfolio through the Pegasus and Renaissance brands in communities across the country.

“As a trusted partner with decades of respected experience among the team, we are looking to work closely with landowners of any size to create much needed homes.

“We have a strong track record in delivering projects within time frames with great success and we are now looking to build a stronger network of long-term land relationships to achieve our goal to provide more housing for all stages of life.”
