One Manchester partners with Beelivery to get emergency food staples delivered quickly
One Manchester, an innovative provider of housing and community services across Manchester, is delighted to announce its new partnership with Beelivery, the UK’s largest 24 hour on-demand grocery business. The partnership was formed after Beelivery was found to be the most reliable service with the greatest number of available drivers at any time of the day.
Beelivery has joined One Manchester as its newest corporate partner, and is committed to helping One Manchester support their most vulnerable customers with deliveries of essential groceries within 60 minutes of an order being placed.
One Manchester reports that since partnering with Beelivery, they have supported 120 of its customers by using the on-demand delivery service, easing the pressure for some of the most vulnerable people having to go the shops to get their grocery essentials. When placing the order, Beelivery drivers are alerted, and items are delivered as quickly as possible, visiting the closest grocery or convenience store to pick up the goods.
As part of One Manchester’s outreach programme, a dedicated team of outbound callers regularly call their most vulnerable customers to see how they getting on. If they find there are no food or essentials in the house, they will use Beeilvery as a crisis service to send them essential supplies which help tie them over until long term help can be implemented.
Shaun Taylor, Interim Customer Lead at One Manchester, said: “We chose to use Beelivery to support us in delivering essential items to our customers. The service covers all of our service areas, and allow us to help those in urgent need, as food parcels can be delivered in around 60 minutes.
“We’re extremely pleased with the convenient and reliable service we’ve received.” Yazan Bin Mohammad, Chairman and Co-founder of Beelivery said, “We are delighted that One Manchester has chosen Beelivery as their preferred partner and first port of call for their customers who need support in getting essential groceries delivered straight to their door as quickly as possible.”
Lee Parkinson, Co-Founder and CEO of Beelivery also commented, “Over the past year, we have been providing an essential service to people who were shielding, self-isolating or unable to get out of their homes due to the pandemic. Beelivery ensures customers receive their orders quickly, and we are looking forward to supporting One Manchester now and in the future.
“As we start to move out of lockdown and return to life as normal, it is important that we continue to support the most vulnerable people across the UK. Due to our large community of more than 50,000 drivers and our geographical reach of more than 90% of UK population, we have the capacity to support more organisations similar to Manchester One in a similar way. We urge anyone interested in finding out more about how we can help to get in touch.”
