Sonocent receives accreditation from Best Companies

Sonocent has been awarded a two-star accreditation from the Best Companies in the first year of entering

Sonocent, a Leeds-based company specialising in technology to improve note taking and learning has been awarded two stars by Best Companies in its first year of entering. The accreditation was awarded following completion of a survey by colleagues highlighting the company as an outstanding place to work.

Using the survey results Best Companies generate a score that decides the star accreditation, as well as the potential overall placement in the list of Best Big Companies to Work For in 2021.

A two-star accreditation is the second-highest standard of workplace engagement and represents organisations striving for the top. Achieving a two-star accreditation takes a BCI score of at least 696.5, made possible only through an ‘outstanding’ commitment to workplace engagement; an incredible achievement for a company in the first year of entering.

Dave Tucker, CEO at Sonocent, said: “On behalf of the whole Sonocent team, I’d like to express how delighted we are to have earned a two-star accreditation from Best Companies and to hear that we have an outstanding level of engagement across the organisation.

“It is our mission to enable every person to have both the confidence and ability to build useful knowledge in an age of information overload. This is an incredible challenge, and therefore it is so important to us to ensure our fantastic employees are able to enjoy the journey, where trust and a focus on our collective and individual growth are integral.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people within the company who work tirelessly to make Sonocent a great place to work. Every team across the organisation has played a significant role in making us who we are today. Their endless commitment and enthusiasm to deliver is matched by continuous support, humour and a collaborative spirit. Every colleague deserves to be recognised for this fantastic achievement.

“Whilst we are very proud of our two-star accreditation, we don’t plan to stop here - we will strive to continuously improve the experience we provide to each of our employees. We are committed to becoming an exceptional, people-focussed organisation, that truly lives by our values, based on our belief that it is only through teamwork and collaboration that we can make a significant, positive change in the world.”
