Cognism hires former ZoomInfo Sales Leader as it aggressively recruits for US market success
Mark Bedard joins as Vice President of Global Sales to build sales and establish significant new US office in Boston MA.
Cognism, the globally compliant go-to-market intelligence company, has today announced that Boston, Massachusetts based Mark Bedard has joined the company as Vice President of Global Sales. Mark, who is an ex- ZoomInfo Sales Leader, joins an international team with a remit to grow the company’s presence in the US enterprise market.
Mark has a strong pedigree in the sales intelligence and B2B data space with almost six years at US-based competitor ZoomInfo. During his time with there, he grew the business 400% in just 12 months. Mark’s extensive knowledge of the US marketplace is of huge value to Cognism’s international growth strategy.
Mark assumes the newly created position to help drive sales within the enterprise market across the US. He will work alongside Global Head of Sales Jonathon Ilett who will focus on the market across EMEA.
One of Mark’s first tasks is to establish the new office in Boston, Massachusetts and build a team of around 100 sales development representatives and account executives. This office will be in addition to their New York City office. The company is currently on an aggressive recruitment drive and hopes to be able to fully open its new office in a south Boston location in July.
