Support with business recovery results in demand for Change Management Partnership

Over the past 24 months, Business Transformation Associates Ltd an established Change Management organisation who believe that all businesses can be improved to excel within their sector, have been supporting local councils in the North East with Government initiatives aimed at businesses that have been impacted by Covid.

The Business Recovery Programme offered small to medium sized manufacturing companies the ability to access the same talent and business systems as their larger competitors. BTA‘s core services of consulting, coaching, and training were therefore offered to a wide range of industries that may have never accessed their services pre-Covid and would not have been BTA’s typical target market.

What differentiates BTA from other B2B support functions is that they take a situational approach with their clients, looking to clearly identify what the organisations value driven purpose is and what problems needs to be solved to deliver that value.

Colin Hastings, Director explained

“It’s fair to say that there is no one size fits all, or step by step programme or approach to transformation, as every business is unique and individual.”

“Solving relevant business problems by coaching and mentoring the team is what ensures any changes and improvements made are both tangible and sustainable, hence a return on investment is assured.”

Typical projects to date have included lead time reduction, conversion cost reduction, quality improvement, and productivity increase, favourable results that have enhanced the competitiveness of their clients both locally and nationally.

Kim English, Director commented

“Businesses now more than ever during this period of recovery need to absorb the rising costs of utilities, materials, logistics, and wages if they are to remain competitive in the global marketplace. Unfortunately, not every business, especially those smaller businesses, can afford to employ the specialist skills and experience required to examine, and analyse operating practices to identify productivity improvements. The support that we have provided to smaller businesses during the delivery of the Recovery Programme has identified a much-needed requirement for such services, to not only aid growth but to ensure survival”

BTA have opened up their Change Management Partnership to smaller businesses to satisfy this need, and as such demand for their services is increasing. The partnership is an affordable solution, and a great alternative to recruitment due to their team having a vast range of experience from a wide range of industries.
