Tribal Worldwide and Wren Kitchens take the Greatest Showman to the Greatest Showroom, in their latest TV Campaign
Total experience agency Tribal Worldwide has brought Hollywood glamour to its latest TV commercial for Wren Kitchens, with help from the creative talent behind The Greatest Showman.
Director Michael Gracey, from production company Partizan, and the film’s choreographer Ashley Wallen used their skills to transform Wren Kitchen showrooms into stages for a full blown song and dance routine.
Each kitchen display is transformed into one continuous magical sequence with the action playing out to the soundtrack of Sammy Davis Jr’s ‘If They Could See Me Now’, from the 1966 Broadway musical Sweet Charity. The orchestral accompaniment was re-recorded through Leland Music at the famous Abbey Road Studios and composed by Guy Farley using Sammy Davis Jr’s original vocal recording.
The creative approach was to use the inspiration of musicals to capture the thrill and excitement of the Wren Kitchens customer experience. The creative execution continues Wren’s long tradition of breaking category norms with its established, trademark wry charm and humour.
The ad launches on UK television with a 30 second and a 60 second version from the 18th of December, before rolling out in the US with 30 and 15 second versions from December 20th.
The multi-media campaign will appear across radio, print, social and POS in the UK, as well as US TV and radio.
Behind the scenes footage is available here, and includes interviews with the Director and Choreographer, Wren’s Marketing Director, all the Tribal creatives, as well as footage of the making of the ad.
William Gibb, Business Director at Tribal Worldwide: “This is our 4th campaign for Wren Kitchens and easily our biggest endeavour, so many people behind the scenes at Wren have moved mountains to get this done and I’m so proud of our team in delivering a real celebration of the Wren experience.”
Richard Walker, Marketing Director at Wren Kitchens: “Planning and designing a new kitchen is such an exciting experience and Wren Kitchens showrooms are truly showstopping!
We wanted to celebrate the unique experience our customers enjoy, and this musical number showcases the greatest showrooms on earth and the journey our customers take, from exploring the widest range of kitchens in the UK, to seeing their dream kitchen come to life via our virtual reality software.
The new ad also shows the passion, enthusiasm and enjoyment the whole Wren team provide through the planning, design, delivery and installation of our customers dream kitchens.”
