Mark attended Northumbria University, where he studied Film and Television before completing a Master’s degree in Media and Journalism at Newcastle University. He will be joining the correspondence team to deliver daily news articles in addition to working on features to be published via Bdaily Premium.
He said: “I am excited to join the Bdaily team and embark on a career in media. I look forward to learning from the team and becoming a valued member delivering content for our readers on a daily basis.”
Business manager Andrew Carter added: “We’re really pleased to have Mark join us at Bdaily. His background in content marketing and his passion for journalism and writing are sure to see him flourish as a correspondent covering business news.
“His extensive skill set will allow us to expand the range of media we provide for our readers. The Bdaily team has undergone a significant shake up in the last year or so and we’re confident that we’re in the best shape we’ve been in for some time.”
Emma Liddle, Mincoffs Solicitors
A North East law firm is consolidating a successful start to the year with the appointment of a new Partner. Head of residential conveyancing Emma Liddle has been promoted to partner at Jesmond based Mincoffs Solicitors.
With more than 20 years of experience in the field, Emma has been “pivotal” in growing the service at the firm since she joined in 2013, with restructures to both the team and its processes. This has included the introduction of paperless working and a focus on new technology in order to streamline the process for her 29-strong team.
She commented: “It has been an incredibly tough couple of years for everyone involved in the property market, with the uncertainty of Brexit and the pandemic followed by a surge in demand bolstered by the stamp duty holidays.
My team has put their all into their work, going from strength to strength and focusing on providing excellent customer service for our clients. I am delighted to be appointed to partner and I hope to assist the firm as a whole so we can continue to grow and flourish.“
Andy Woodhouse, chief executive at Mincoffs, added: “Emma is fantastic at what she does and has been a driving force behind the growth of the residential conveyancing team,” he said.
“Taking on the role of Head of Residential Conveyancing at the start of the pandemic was certainly no mean feat and Emma took it in her stride to ensure that both the team and our clients received all the support they needed.”
