This week’s round up of Yorkshire appointments includes Ilk, Watson Batty Architects & Spencer Riley. Read on to find out more.
Five appointments, Ilk
Leeds-based agency, ilk, is celebrating growth with five new additions across its Creative, Production, Web Development and PR & Social departments, as the business continues to see success and in turn, expands its integrated communications capabilities.
Stepping into ilk’s Creative Accounts team, Chelsie Brown joins the agency as Creative Account Manager. Ross Lammin joins as the agency’s Senior Web Developer, bringing with him over six years of experience within the field. Beth Hutchinson, who achieved a Fashion Marketing Degree from Leeds Beckett University, comes to ilk as PR and Social Account Executive.
Joining the Design department, Becca Jones steps in as Junior Designer. Becca has previously worked at a sustainable art printer, running their digital press and Japanese riso press, alongside their in-house design and content generation.
Stepping into the role of Creative Content Producer, Matt Jeffrey’s responsibilities’ cover all aspects of video production, largely spanning a mix of camera operation, directing, producing and video editing.

Philippa Nall, Watson Batty Architects
Watson Batty Architects has announced that Philippa Nall has joined its senior team as Associate Director at the Leeds studio. The news follows the announcement of four senior promotions just a few months ago as the practice pursues growth throughout 2022.
The senior appointment reflects Watson Batty’s drive to further expand the business with a particular focus on growing its senior team through succession planning. It is also testament to its reputation as a future focused practice that can attract strong talent.

**Jackie Parkhill, Spencer Riley **
Leeds-based global executive search consultancy, Spencer Riley has appointed Jackie Parkhill as its new head of marketing, to support its UK and international growth ambitions. The newly created role will see Jackie spearhead the consultancy’s marketing strategy, encompassing channels such as PR, social media and digital marketing.
Jackie Parkhill, newly appointed head of marketing for Spencer Riley, said: “The potential for this role is huge. For me, after 24 years in legal marketing, I was ready to be part of something new.
