At-home health testing specialist lands “major” retail listing with Selfridges
“Groundbreaking” at-home health testing specialist Omnos is launching its range in Selfridges as it hits the high street for the first time.
The partnership will see the department store carry 11 easy-to-use tests, allowing users to discover more about factors that affect their day-to-day life such as their fertility, genetics and overall health. It marks a major milestone in Omnos’ growth as a “major player” in the health technology industry as it evolves from its online-only roots.
Chris Roberts, business development director at London based Omnos, commented: “Getting into retail was a natural progression for Omnos as we continue to enhance our customers’ experience, allowing pre-purchasing guidance and support.
“Launching at Selfridges means we’ll have more face-to-face time with customers, build more connections and have more conversations. We’ll continue evolving our intelligent health system and lead by the way of innovation in the at-home health testing market.
“As people increasingly take their personal health and wellness into their own hands, Omnos remains the future of at-home health testing, offering the most compressive suite of tests on the market.”
Omnos is a personalised online wellbeing platform looking at six core aspects of life: health, fitness, stress, lifestyle, nutrition and genetics. Its mission is to “empower users” to understand their bodies better and to prevent illness before the problem escalates.
Its questionnaires and at-home health tests, which evolve with each test and tailor-made recommendations, give users a fuller picture of their overall health and wellbeing. Since last month, it has added an extra dimension to Selfridges’ new wellbeing destination ‘The Feel Good Bar’.
Its experts can discuss the testing process with customers and advise them on the best one to take depending on their health and wellbeing goals.
The Omnos team, including co-founder and functional medicine expert Thomas Olivier, registered associate nutritionist Hannah Norris, and head of product and health coach Christian Thomson, will also be running a series of panel discussions over the coming months.
