This week’s round up of Yorkshire appointments includes SALT.agency, Bradley Hall & Kada Research. Read on to find out more.

Pete Watson-Wailes, SALT.agency

SALT.agency is pleased to announce the hiring of Pete Watson-Wailes in a brand new role as Operations Manager. Pete will be the company’s first Operations Manager a new leadership role created thanks to continued growth at the technical SEO agency.

Pete will oversee the broader organization of SALT, helping to maintain and grow company activities. Pete joins SALT after 18 years in the SEO industry, having previously run technical operations at Builtvisible and Strategy Digital. Alongside his operational duties, Pete has also consulted for Accor, Arrow, Google, Red Bull, and others.

Discussing his new position, Pete said: “SALT.agency has been a pioneer in the field of technical SEO, and its success is a testament to the quality of its work. I’m delighted and proud to be joining to help the founders deliver on their vision for the agency and work alongside a fantastic team of talent on the next stage of its journey.”

Josh Robinson, Bradley Hall

A graduate from Leeds has taken his first step onto the career ladder after joining an award-winning property specialist. Josh Robinson, who this year graduated with a 2:1 degree in Real Estate and Property Management from Leeds Beckett University, has joined the Bradley Hall graduate programme.

The opportunity will see Josh take up a full-time role within the firm’s Leeds surveying department and undertake his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to qualify as a chartered member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Josh will become the latest employee to join the company’s growing West Yorkshire head office in Leeds, which recently saw the team relocate to a new 1,600 sq ft city centre office at 6 Park Place, just a stone’s throw from Park Square.

Speaking about the opportunity, he said: “I am really grateful to be given this opportunity to join Bradley Hall’s graduate programme and to study for my APC qualifications.

Since its launch in 1988, Bradley Hall has established a reputation for promoting within and providing graduate opportunities to young people looking to forge a career in the industry.

Cassie Houlden & Khumo Moka, Kada Research

Kada Research, a UK and International economic consultancy based in South Yorkshire, has expanded its team with the appointment of experienced economic consultant, Cassie Houlden, who joins as a Director, and a member of the Board, as well as placement student, Khumo Mokae.

Commenting on her appointment Karl Dalgleish, Kada Company Director, said: “We are so pleased with Cassie’s appointment and welcome her to the team. Her experience speaks for itself, and I have no doubt that she will be a huge asset to both new and existing clients.

“I have worked with Cassie previously, and her professionalism and passion for the work that she does really shines through. I am therefore very excited to have her on board not only as a Director, but also as a member of our Board so that she can help shape the future direction of the business.”

Commenting on her new role Cassie added: “I am delighted to be working with the KADA team. Collectively they are highly experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic, and I look forward to working alongside them on a wide range of economic development projects.”

Last month Kada Research also welcomed Khumo Mokae to the team as part of an industry placement year taken with the University of Sheffield, where she is currently doing a degree in Politics and International Studies.
