Yorkshire digital health tech platform to expand following Canadian acquisition

Yorkshire based digital health tech platform, ADI Health, has been acquired by Canadian software for health and human services specialist, VitalHub Corporation, via its subsidiary, Cirencester based Intouch with Health.

Founded in 2005 and based in Shipley, ADI Health will join the existing VitalHub UK group of health-tech companies, which comprises Intouch with Health, Transforming Systems, Synopsis, Beautiful Information, MCAP, Alamac, Jayex Acute, S12 Solutions and Hicom.

ADI Health’s flagship product, the award-winning MyPathway, is an app-based patient portal solution, which connects patients to care services in areas including muscular-skeletal, chronic pain, motor neurone disease, and eating disorders.

Judith Clarkson, commercial director at ADI Health, commented: “Joining the VitalHub group of companies presents an exciting opportunity to develop and expand our solutions and services for patients and clinicians.

“We believe this will enable us to continue our vision to provide equal, immediate and lifelong access to patient healthcare information, support and tools, throughout every step of the patient’s journey.

“Integrating with VitalHub’s existing digital-health product suite strengthens our own portfolio and provides the opportunity to further improve patient pathways and elevate the patient experience.”

Mike Sanders, VitalHub UK CEO, added: “We are pleased to have completed the acquisition of ADI Health, as VitalHub continues its mission to create an eco-system of digital healthcare solutions that simplify the complexity of data integration in planned and unplanned care.

“This acquisition will further enhance our portfolio of award-winning digital healthcare solutions and enable us to further enrich care pathways for patients and clinicians alike.”

“The MyPathway solution is a leading digital health portal platform that will allow us at VitalHub, alongside Intouch with Health’s Flow Manager, to truly offer end-to-end patient flow and will likely be the first conjoined solution of its kind in the UK healthcare marketplace.”

Lisa Riley, vice president of strategy and sales, and deputy CEO at VitalHub UK, concluded: “ADI Health transforms health and care services using digital technologies to ensure patients, and all those involved in their care, have access to the right digital tools.”

“MyPathway will enable VitalHub to be able to communicate with patients in their own homes, in their own time, enabling better communication, better access, and more importantly, enabling the NHS to be able to plan care much more proactively, freeing up valuable time.”
