Leeds-based Equinox acquired by global intellectual property leaders
Leeds-based Equinox joins Questel, a global legal technology company headquartered in France.
Founded and operated in Leeds since 2006, Equinox provides software for intellectual property law firms across the world. The company has grown in recent years, supplying almost 250 organisations in 25 countries.
Questel is one of the world’s most comprehensive providers of technology for intellectual property professionals. Its services encompass the entire innovation and intellectual property life cycle. Equinox, as a provider of an intellectual property management system, will form a key component of Questel’s extensive services.
Equinox, advised by Ward Hadaway, Ahead Business Consulting, and Azets, has grown to be a highly competitive software provider in its market. By joining Questel, the firm hopes to grow its international market share even further.

The Equinox team is comprised of tech professionals from a variety of disciplines with development, data management, and support specialists. Equinox will continue to operate in Leeds and maintain its full team as it joins Questel.
