L&Q Estates Milton Keynes home development press release

Work is set to get underway at a Milton Keynes development which will provide almost 300 homes.

One of the UK’s largest strategic land developers, L&Q Estates, has exchanged contracts on another phase of development within the Western Expansion Area. The three parcels of land spread over 16.7 acres have been sold by L&Q Estates to leading housebuilder Crest Nicholson.

A total of 297 properties comprising of two-to-four-bedroom homes including 30 per cent affordable houses will be built. Crest Nicholson will be the first to begin construction along the frontage to this newly constructed stretch of Barossa Way in Area 10 South.

This area of the Western Expansion Area will eventually connect to Tattenhoe Street, following the completion of the new V2 Grid Road extension. Adrian Clack, Managing Director at Warwick-based L&Q Estates, said work is expected to get underway in mid-2023.

He said: “This highlights L&Q Estates’ commitment to delivering infrastructure throughout the development enabling housebuilding to be delivered at pace.

“We have been involved in this development for over 20 years and it has been great to watch it progress as we have been involved in investing in schools, parks, play areas and health facilities.
