London Stadium ‘wraps up’ partnership deal with growing local business

Disposable packaging supplier Herald has announced a long-term partnership with sports rights specialist Eleven Sports Media to become an Associate Partner of the London Stadium.

With 30 years of experience in identifying customer needs and delivering eco-friendly quality products to the catering, hospitality, FM and vending industries, Herald has established a reputation for providing a wide range of packaging solutions to suit all budgets.

The Associate Partnership programme is designed to give local businesses a platform in professional sport and will provide Herald with the opportunity to market its products to a wider audience.

Herald will use Eleven Sports Media’s fan engagement platforms, that are integrated throughout the London Stadium, to promote its products and to reach new customers watching at home or in the stadium.

The company’s branding will be showcased on a Mid-Tier LED ribbon during Premier League matches, and a 996 sq.m digital wrap, the UK’s largest stadium display, to greet fans arriving at the stadium. In concourse and hospitality areas, Herald’s messaging will be positioned alongside StadiumTV content, shown on screens throughout the stadium.

News of the agreement follows the announcement that Herald has recently opened a second office in Newcastle, providing northern staff with an accessible base and increasing the company’s storage facilities for its expanding product range.

The company has been seeking to expand further north for some time, having built a successful business in the South, and is now keen to win over the Scottish market by building a strong profile in Scotland.

Herald’s national sales manager, David Martin, commented: “We are thrilled to join forces with the London Stadium Associate Partnership program as we strive to increase brand awareness following a period of significant growth for Herald.”

The partnership will provide Herald with a “distinct presence” in the vicinity of London Stadium, giving the company the opportunity to market their products to those based in the local area.

The partnership also offers Herald the chance to develop relationships with other partner organisations. The company will have exclusive access to partner events, designed to help like-minded businesses grow.
