London’s ‘culinary powerhouse’ to shake up QSR landscape with fifth restaurant
Quick service restaurant (QSR) chain WNGZ continues to establish itself as a ‘powerhouse’ in the UK’s restaurant industry, with the launch of its fifth store underway in London’s up-and-coming Mile End on July 14.
Arif Ahmed, operations director and co-founder of WNGZ, brings his extensive real estate background to the table, ensuring that WNGZ outlets are situated in major locations of the city, with no dearth of food lovers willing to come in and try something new.
Zahirul Islam, the finance & legal director and co-founder, leverages his expertise in business and exports to drive profitability and sustainable growth for the brand. Together, their combined knowledge and experience have propelled WNGZ towards becoming one of the biggest and most popular chicken-based QSR brands in the UK.
After identifying a gap in the market for a local halal and American style grilled chicken and wings cuisine, both the founders made up their mind to fulfil this demand and cater to a wider section of customers.
The brand’s commitment to inclusivity is also showcased through its cauliflower and jackfruit options, specifically designed to cater to the vegan and vegetarian market. Each portion is accompanied by one of WNGZ’s signature sauces.
With a proven track record of successful branch openings in Stratford, Poplar, and Camden, WNGZ is set to expand its presence with its Mile End launch this month. With this, it aims to become a “household name” in the realm of chicken-based fast-food chains.
A spokesperson on behalf of the brand commented: “WNGZ has garnered a loyal customer base and widespread acclaim within the London culinary scene a little over a year of its inception.
“With further expansion to with the WNGZ Mile End launch, the team aims to bring its extraordinary flavours to new communities across the busy city, solidifying its position as a leading brand, with an unshakable identity and following.”
