Leeds job management software provider celebrates “record-breaking” growth
Leeds based job management software provider, BigChange, turns 10 this month as it celebrates its best ever six months for customer acquisition and contract wins.
Founded in Leeds in 2013 by the now chairman Martin Port, BigChange set out to streamline field service businesses by reducing paperwork and automating their processes.
Its software now provides access to CRM, job scheduling, an app for engineers and technicians, financial management, vehicle tracking, business analytics and more to businesses across the world, all from one platform.
In 2021, Great Hill Partners, the private equity firm behind Wayfair, ZoomInfo and Reward Gateway, invested significant capital to drive further growth and innovation at BigChange.
Now, 10 years on, the team has welcomed 200 new customers in the last six months, along with approximately £19m of contract wins, both ‘record-breaking’ numbers for the business, when compared to other half year periods.
Over the course of the decade, the business has scheduled over 58m jobs, saving its customers over 26 million hours of admin time and 19.5 million hours of engineer’s time thanks to its job management software. With a team of over 250 based in the UK, France, Poland and Ukraine, there’s no sense of the business slowing down anytime soon.
Richard Warley, CEO of BigChange commented: “We couldn’t be happier to be celebrating 10 years of BigChange this month, and what better way to do with a record-breaking six months. The team has already achieved so much in 2023, with much more to come.
“BigChange’s customers are the backbone of the UK economy. They are a group of hard driving entrepreneurs and professionals that keep the country running through their essential work across Plumbing, Building Maintenance, Electrical Contracting, Utilities and Drainage Works.
“We are 100 per cent focused on helping them reach their business goals by generating more revenue, improving both their businesses performance and their sustainability and by reducing costs through the easy to use software solution that we provide.
“Our customers’ needs are ever-evolving, which is why we’re continuing to accelerate the development of our technology all the time.”
