3) Senior research executive for public knowledge

Dipsticks Research are looking for a Senior Research Executive to work for their new offering to the public sector and public service organisations called Public Knowledge. Established in 1997, the company has six directors, three associates, 50 employees, 70+ CATI staff, 48 fieldwork supervisors and over 600 fieldwork interviewers.The company’s Senior Research Executives are engaging people who turn numbers into stories that non-researchers can understand; who are imaginative and creative in their approach to solving clients’ problems.Candidates must be educated to degree level in a humanities or science based discipline, have at least 3 years experience in public sector research and be able to demonstrate the following;· Experience of working on mainly quantitative projects and therefore possessing strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and accuracy;· An ability to work to demanding deadlines whilst remaining unflappable when under pressure;· Impressive verbal literacy, an engaging command of written English along with dazzling presentational skills;· A determination to continually self improve;· An ability to create professional, productive and harmonious relationships with clients;· An understanding of clients’ objectives and be able to cost for projects especially those of a complex nature;· Project management skills and an ability to identify and create strategies to manage project risks;· Be able to manage clients and ensure that outputs are delivered to agreed expectations.The positions are based at the company’s Head Office in rural Northumberland, so candidates must possess their own transport.
