Delicious low-fat fishy ice cream
Fish could be the holy grail for ice-cream lovers. The Mirror reports that Pout fish could be the key low-fat ice-cream that tastes as good as the full-fat version. The creatures can survive extremely cold temperatures thanks to a protein in its blood which lowers the temperature at which ice-crystals form. Scientists are hoping to artificially create the protein, meaning that less fat will be needed to create the ice-cream.
