'Don't shoot Scots'
Yorkshiremen will no longer be able to legally shoot Scots if a peace-loving couple have their way. Ananova.com reports that Ewan and Gill Main are asking citizens of York to sign a treaty that promises that they will refrain from shooting Scottish people with a bow and arrow within York’s city walls, as is currently their right under an ancient by-law.The couple plan to walk 240 miles to Edinburgh with the ‘peace treaty’, in an attempt to improve Anglo-Scottish relations and raise money for Survive, a charity which helps child victims of sexual abuse.
