Scottish entrepreneurs hungry to do business on Tyneside

Businesses on Tyneside are being urged to engage with Scottish entrepreneurs at this year’s Big Scottish breakfast event in September. The event, on 14th September in Edinburgh, regularly attracts 200 business owners who can meet new contacts over the course of 4 hours’ speed networking. The event is being run by the ‘Bacon Eggs & Entrepreneurs’ network. Tricia Fox, managing director and founder of the network, said: “We have run this event for three years now and each event gets better and better. This year we wanted to add a new dimension and we thought that by encouraging Newcastle businesses to catch the train up to Edinburgh and interact with Scottish entrepreneurs, we’d be encouraging new levels of cross border trade.” The event, which is sponsored by Bank of Scotland, O2 and Business Gateway (Scotland’s answer to Business Link), will take place at 9am on Thursday 14th September in The Hub, home to the Edinburgh International Festival.
