Students win cramming competition
A new world record has been set for most number of people squashed into a Mini. Yahoo news reports that 21 limber Malaysian students somehow fit into the small car, with all doors shut. The task was done in four minutes, and all the participants managed to stay within the Mini for 20 seconds, beating the previous record. Proving they weren’t afraid of confined spaces, two students were locked into the boot of the car. Speaking about the brief ordeal, the record breakers merely said: “It was hot, stuffy and very uncomfortable.” The previous record was set in 2000 when 18 women crammed into a Mini Cooper in Birmingham.
