In most companies (large and small) supervisors and managers are recruited or promoted from within. This is usually on the basis of their technical / practical skills and knowledge – which may have taken years to develop. They are then expected (almost from day one) to act and re-act like competent, professional managers.This series of 12 stand alone workshops is suitable for people who have been, or are about to be, promoted to supervisory or management positions, as well as managers and supervisors who have a lot of experience but need to renew and update their skills.
