Tom and Jerry mislead generations

It’s official – mice hate cheese. Yahoo news reports that scientists have found that contrary to popular belief, rodents prefer foods with high sugar content like grains and fruit. Mice tend to turn their noses up at something as strong in smell and rich in taste as cheese. Animal behaviourist David Holmes, from Manchester Metropolitan University, said: “Mice have evolved almost entirely without cheese or anything resembling it.”
