Perfect stage for theatre firm
The North East’s largest producing theatre company has re-launched with a dynamic new website designed to make a real impact on lovers of the stage. Theatre company, Northern Stage recently moved into a refurbished nine million pound building, which faces Newcastle University and has three performance spaces, a stunning glass foyer, and simple and open access for audiences and performers.
The website – www.northernstage.co.uk – was developed by Newcastle-based IT specialist Perfect Image, and includes online booking facilities as well as a stunning design to match the Northern Stage’s new home.
Northern Stage’s director of communications, Richard Bliss, said: “We were delighted to choose Newcastle-based Perfect Image as our supplier – a decision we’re very happy with. “Theatre is a difficult business to understand and we needed a web developer that could present our image well and ensure the site would sell tickets, help with fundraising and, most importantly, provide a real insight into our work. “Perfect Image has cracked some of the big problems that many theatre companies have, such as integrating their data management, ticket sales and online marketing.”
Established in 1991 by managing director Andrew Robson, Perfect Image are members of Codeworks Connect, which is the trade association for digital businesses in North East England. For more information about Connect and the benefits of membership, visit www.codeworksconnect.net.
