Sister Act for PR firm
Family connections are at the fore as two PR professionals join forces for the launch of a new North East agency. Sisters Suzy and Anna Goulding have come together to launch Goulding Public Relations, based in Newcastle.
The pair, who have almost 20 years of industry experience between them, hope to attract clients looking for help and support with their communications covering anything from corporate and business to business PR to consumer PR, stakeholder communications and creative copywriting.
Principle Consultant Suzy Goulding has had a career in PR for both public and private sector businesses including the Inland Revenue and the Sage Group plc.
Suzy, 38, was head of corporate communications for destination marketing agency NewcastleGateshead Initiative (NGI) for three years, before moving on to become a company director for a local PR agency.
She said: “Goulding PR represents an exciting step for both of us and we have already managed to attract an exciting repertoire of clients.
“Joining together in business made sense, as we each specialise in our own field of PR, and really complement each other in skills and experience which enables us to provide clients with service of the highest quality.”
Goulding PR is currently based just outside Newcastle city centre and has already worked with companies including Tesco, the NHS, NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Newcastle City Centre Partnership and Hadrian’s Wall Heritage Ltd.
Younger sister Anna, 25, joined the company as senior account executive in July, after spending two years with Newcastle-based agency Mitchell Halton Watson PR.
She said: “Business is booming and we look forward to expanding our portfolio further, helping to raise the profile of our clients on both a local and national scale.”
