Boom time for manufacturing company
A North East manufacturing business - which boasts an annual turnover of £3m - has moved into a new premises as part of its expansion drive.
Cotswold Manufacturing, based in Thornaby, manufactures doorsets, doorkits and internal glazed screens for a wide range of clients across the country, including schools, universities, hotels, hospitals and army barracks.
Within five years the business has reached an annual turnover of over 3 million and employs 27 staff.
The company has recently moved to Teesside Industrial Estate in Thornaby, which allowed an increase in square footage from 29,700 to 53,000.
Ken Napper, commercial director of Cotswold Manufacturing, said: “We are delighted with the success of the business. We have a fantastic team who all focus on getting the product right and ensuring customer satisfaction.
“We have developed a unique system in our machinery which sets us apart from our competitors. These are very exciting times for Cotswold Manufacturing.”
