New bid to breathe life into North East construction sector

WATSON BURTON law firm has teamed up with national construction company Morgan Sindall to launch a forum aimed at getting the North East’s construction sector back on track.

Stephen McLellan, solicitor within Watson Burton’s Construction and Engineering group, and Miles Morgan, site manager at Morgan Sindall, have established the Construction Innovation Forum – a networking platform for young professionals within the North East to share their views and ideas in relation to the industry.

The forum sees Watson Burton’s Newcastle office host monthly meetings at which members discuss the challenges that currently face the construction industry.

The initiative hopes to consolidate the talents of young professionals from some of the region’s leading construction companies, whilst also creating a solid foundation for the next generation of construction workers in the North East.
