VistTeesvalley boss bounces back
The former Chief Executive of visitTeesvalley has founded her own business for over 35s in the region and has unveiled plans for its swift expansion.
Julia Frater, who was the Chief Executive of visitTeesvalley until it folded in January this year, felt this was the perfect opportunity to establish herself as a business woman and has set up Bon Amis.
Bon Amis offers experiences for over 35s and encourages possible relationships in venues across the North East and North Yorkshire.
Ms Frater said: “I set this organisation up for individuals who are currently too busy to find time to organise their own social life or who are simply looking to mix in new social circles. Ultimately it is about providing them with an experience they won’t get anywhere else.”
“I’m passionate about the North East and North Yorkshire and I wanted to carry on doing something for the area.
“Those who join will be able to enjoy a whole host of exciting activities ranging from fine dining, a day at the races, wine tasting and salsa dancing to French classes, cookery lessons and country walking..”
Bon Amis is officially launched on Saturday 5th March at Rockliffe Hall Hotel near Darlington.
