Waterstons opens new office in London

A North East IT Consultancy has set out plans for expansion after opening a new office in London following 12 months of significant growth.

Waterstons, which has operated from Durham since its creation in 1994, has opened an additional office in the Kings Cross area of London as the company’s turnover generated from customers in the South is expected to double during this financial year.

The firm which provides Business and IT consultancy has a client base in the South including Cundall, Vopak and Tower Hamlets Community Housing.

This has recently expanded to include the UK’s largest road fuel supplier, Greenergy, the London School of Economics and Political Science and infrastructure group Balfour Beatty.

Waterstons’ founding director, Sally Waterston, said: “It is brilliant to have this additional office in London; we recognised that this is where several of our major customers are based.

“The new office will also help us secure more work with businesses in the South.

“Some of the work we get will be carried out in London; some will be carried out in the North East. Our Headquarters will always be in Durham.”

In addition to the new office, Waterstons has recruited four new consultants as a result of its recent success.

Three of the new recruits will be based at the company’s Durham office and one at its newly opened office in London.
