Dickinson Dees expanding into Leeds
Dickinson Dees LLP is celebrating after making the decision to open an office in Leeds.
The law firm, which is based on the North East, made the decision move its current Yorkshire base from York to Leeds in order to better serve its clients in the region.
The firm’s presence in Yorkshire has grown rapidly since 2007 when it acquired Philip Ashworth & Co, a specialist corporate practice with local knowledge.
It is hoped that the move to Leeds, the regions commercial and financial capital, will help the company meet the needs of existing and new clients.
Managing Partner Jonathan Blair commented:
“ Our business in Yorkshire has quadrupled in size to a turnover of £4.5 million last year from when we first opened in 2007.
“Our move into Leeds will enable us to build further on this significant platform and help us to deliver the strategy we rolled out earlier this year. That strategy will see us expanding out market share and our geographical presence.”
The location of the new office in Leeds has yet to be confirmed.
