New appointment at Ward Hadaway

Ward Hadaway in Newcastle are celebrating the appointment of one of the top commercial lawyers in the North East.

Mark Whitehead joins the firm from Watson Burton where he was head of the commercial team, and the chemical, pharmaceuticals and materials group and a member of the energy and utilities team.

He has spent the past 14 years working for a wide range of clients, from major multi-national organisations to smaller project development businesses. Mark has also worked in an advisory capacity with Narec, GDF Suez Energy and Akzo Nobel

Mark said: “I know from my work with clients both regionally and nationally that it is a firm with an excellent reputation, and I am delighted to be joining the firm.”

Mark Whitehead is the tenth new lawyer to join Ward Hadaway in the last nine months.
