The Marine Activities Centre at Sunderland Marina is the commercial arm of Adventure Sunderland, a charitable organisation that specialises in helping the disadvantaged and the disabled enjoy activities on the open water. The Marina itself is located at the mouth of the River Wear and is directly overlooked by the Marine Activities Centre.

Two offices on the first floor of the Marine Activities Centre are shortly to become available to let. Office 1 comprises some 37.72m² (406ft²) of usable space and is available at £5,000 per annum. Office 2 is slightly smaller at 33.26m² (358ft²) and can be let for £4,425 per annum. Combined, the offices total 70.98m² (764ft²) at £9,200 per annum. An annual service charge and VAT is payable to the landlord.

The rateable value as given by the Valuations Office Agency is £4,250. There may be small business relief available for occupiers to the end of September 2012, which would provide for 100% rate allowance.
