Local Accountants form national partnership

A local accountancy firm has joined forces with other practices across the UK to form MHA, an organisation to promote their growth and individuality.

Tait Walker is the first and only practice from the region to join the association, which hopes to build up a national network of accountancy firms, whilst also allowing them to retain their own name and brand which has been built up in their practice area.

The firms in the association will now be given the opportunity to draw upon the experiences, knowledge and specialist areas of their fellow members. Members will also work closely together to ensure they adopt best practices in the industry, to present a national capability to the marketplace which will allow members to target larger clients.

Speaking about their decision to join the association, managing partner ar Tait Walker David Arthur said: “The partners at Tait Walker remain firmly committed to operating independently, as do the other members of MHA, whilst working together to enhance client service.

“By working closely with the other members, this will give Tait Walker full national and international coverage and access to additional knowledge and expertise which will enhance the service we are able to offer our clients. Similarly other members will benefit from the extensive expertise within Tait Walker.”

MHA will also be a member of Morison International, an association fo worldwide accountancy and legal professionals.

David added: “Working together as a national association the members will also be able to provide services to international companies with activities in the UK, or UK companies operating overseas.”
