Local IT business celebrates transatlantic deal
A North East computing company is celebrating the closure of a deal with a Canadian cloud computing firm.
Wolf Consultancy, who are based in Newcastle, will act as the UK representative for Namtek’s erpwizard cloud computing software, which provides businesses in the manufacturing and distribution industry with greater control over stocks, sales and shipping.
Marc Fowler, Managing Director of Wolf Consultancy said: “erpwizard is a tremendous system, offering firms in every corner of the industry from international manufacturers to small local suppliers at a low cost, high impact way of controlling costs and maximising profits.
“We’ve been able to attract major clients to keep coming back to us time and time again because they know we can be relied upon to deliver the software they need to make their businesses more efficient and more profitable and our agreement with Namtek will allow us to build on that.”
Wolf Consultancy has received invaluable support from Sunderland Software City over the past three months, who have helped the company to establish a strong UK presence.
Bernie Callaghan, Chief Executive Officer of Sunderland Software City said: “Part of Sunderland Software City’s work is showcasing the North East and its growing software industry internationally, and we’re glad to have been able to offer both Wolf and Namtek our experience and connections to help set up this very promising deal.”
Wolf Consultancy will now begin to actively promote erpwizard, and is now searching for re-sellers to become part of the venture.
