New North East financial advisory firm open for business
A financial planner is defying uncertainty in the financial markets by setting up his own firm to help individuals in the North East take care of their personal wealth.
Daniel Laws decided to set up DML Financial Planning in Darlington after witnessing the withdrawal of financial advice from many of the banks and the high demand from clients for an independent financial advisor.
Daniel, alongside client services manager Karen Thompson will now work with clients seeking advice on pre and post retirement planning, investment portfolio construction and management and later life financial issues.
The pair now aim to provide a truly independent, professional and personal service to their clients. Daniel commented: “People are increasingly looking for new, safe places to put their money and with markets being so volatile they can’t afford to second-guess themselves where money is concerned, so they look for professional help.
Daniel now hopes to maintain high levels of service and has already begun to look for a third member of the team.
