Free business consultation scheme to help start-ups
Anderson Barrowcliff LLP is part of a scheme aiming to help businesses get off the ground and flourish by offering free financial and business support.
The Thornaby-on-Tees based chartered accountancy firm is working alongside the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW), offering a free business consultation to SMEs and business start-ups. In October 2011 the ICAEW put plans in-place to set up the Business Advice Service (BAS), a facility that gives companies the opportunity to register and receive a free consultation with an ICAEW Chartered Accountant.
“Working alongside a qualified chartered accountant can give start-up businesses the impetus to grow their commercial operations” said Jerome Bury, Partner at Anderson Barrowcliff LLP.
“There are many SMEs and business start-ups throughout the North East that will benefit from being given a helping hand during a difficult economic period. Whether it is giving advice in securing finance or meeting tax and regulatory requirements, companies can benefit from the up-to-date knowledge a fully qualified chartered accountant can offer” continued Mr Bury.
The scheme is also supported by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS). Mark Prisk, Minister of State for Business and Enterprise, said: “Small firms are the bedrock of the UK economy but some also need financial management support. This service is an example of how businesses can work together and will hopefully lead to local economic growth and potential job creation.”
If you are a small to medium sized business or a business start-up and would like to take advantage of the Business Advice Service (BAS), visit www.businessadviceservice.com to search for Anderson Barrowcliff LLP, complete the short registration form and claim your free initial consultation.
