North East family haulage firm, Fergusons Transport, has welcomed two brothers onto its board of directors.
Joining their father, Michael and Stuart Arkle will take on the new roles which will see them helping to steer the business.
Stuart Arkle, said: “This is a tremendous opportunity for us and needless to say we are absolutely delighted to join the board.
“My brother and I have worked extremely hard to continue the good work and great reputation of Fergusons Transport in the haulage industry over the last few years, and look forward to building on that.”
Professor Christine Borland has been appointed as BALTIC Northumbria University Professor.
The post is another step towards the creation of the new Institute of Contemporary Art in Newcastle.
Christine was herself nominated for the Turner Prize in 1997, and her academic practice explores art, ethics, medical humanities and bio-politics.
The Institute of Consulting has announced the appointment of a new head.
Stella Bowdell brings over 20 years’ experience in working within consultancy sectors such as construction, manufacturing and financial.
She said: “The Institute of Consulting is a standard bearer for professionalism and quality in the consulting industry and I am delighted to be joining as its new Head.”
