Durham housing provider recognised as top employer
County Durham housing provider livin is celebrating after achieving silver status from the Investors in People standards.
They company gained the silver recognition earlier this month, as acknowledgement for its outstanding commitment to staff and good practice in people management.
They are now part of the 2% of recognised companies throughout the UK who have qualified for IiP silver status.
Colin Steel, chief executive of livin said: “We are delighted to be accredited with the IiP silver status.
“livin employees have demonstrated a genuine understanding of our company’s purpose, aims and objectives.
“To achieve the accreditation during a period of significant change within the company is testament to our commitment and team effort.”
Chris Jones, head of operations at idg the Investors in People Centre for the North of England said: “This is a fantastic achievement. I would like to congratulate the team at livin on its commitment to continuous improvement.
’As the IiP centre for the North of England, idg is committed to working with organisations to raise standards and improve performance through people.
