Relieving the Headache of Mobile Device Management
There is a growing demand for employees to be able to use their own mobile devices in the workplace, but how can IT departments cope? GP’s are even being told to recommend the use of apps to their patients - but surely they all need the right tools to demonstrate these apps securely to their patients?
No-one can deny that the use of smartphones and iPads is soaring. Tablets are now outselling PC’s and if a company wants to keep up with the latest technology they need the right tools to do this easily without compromising on security.
Many people don’t seem aware of the financial implications of your data getting into the wrong hands. Did you know that the ICO can fine you for each data security breach? The actual fines are quite astonishing (see http://www.ico.gov.uk/what_we_cover/taking_action/dp_pecr.aspx for examples). Do you know if any of your employees are wandering around with your unsecured corporate data? It may well be time to find out!
We are currently working with many public and private sector organisations across the UK to tackle the issues surrounding Mobile Device Management and to maintain their data security. We are also running a series of BYOD workshops this Autumn. Please contact us or visit our website for further information:
