Doncaster’s Chartered Management Accountants looking forward
Tonight, Doncaster’s Chartered Management Accountants are getting together at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants(CIMA) Doncaster Branch Annual General Meeting to be held at the The Earl of Doncaster, Bennetthorpe, Doncaster. Along with a summary of the branch’s activities of the previous year and a preview of plans for the forthcoming year, members will be attending a workshop to help them achieve their potential.
Attendees will get advice on managing a heavy workload, negotiating appropriate deadlines, delegating and learning when to say ‘no’. Embracing these skills from across the management discipline will help Doncaster’s Management Accountnats to be comfortable with the standard 24-hour day.
Howard Whitehead, CIMA Council member in the North East, says, ‘Chartered Management Accountants operate in all areas of business in both financial and non-financial roles. Their commercial and forward looking focus, training, experience and professionalism provides them with a unique insight into how organisations operate and they can make a significant contribution to any business.’
CIMA run a series of events for students, members and guests in Doncaster and across the UK on a regular basis across the year. For further information visit www.cimaglobal.com/localevents
