Main Sponsor Announced
Perhaps it is because Glasgow based Spitfire Consultancy has direct links within our region, or perhaps it is because they like to support worthy causes. Either way, we are delighted that they have come forward as main sponsor of a charity GOLF EVENT we are helping to organise, and we thank them for that.
The event, to be held on Wednesday June 27th2012 is the inaugural golf event for Hexham based charity Josie’s Dragonfly Trust, a children’s cancer charity that gives cash gifts to children & young people with terminal diagnosis throughout the UK.
This Golf Day at Hexham Golf Club is open to all as a 4-ball team entry costing £200, and includes breakfast and BBQ – how would you like to be involved?
A spokesperson for Spitfire Consultancy said “We recognize our responsibility to society goes beyond our direct business activities and various social commitments are reflected in the actions of our people. For many years, Spitfire employees have been involved in fundraising activities or contributions, raising money for charities such as Josie’s Dragonfly Trust, British Heart Foundation, Alzheimer_’s Society, Lupus UK, The Meningitis Trust, RDA and St Luke’_s Hospice.“
