Holroyd Howe strengthens team with new Managing Director

Holroyd Howe, the UK’s only caterer to deliver fresh food services solely to the independent education sector, has recently appointed a new Managing Director – Ronan Harte.

The caterer has gone from strength-to-strength over the last year, with recent contract wins including Shrewsbury School in Shropshire, St Bede’s School in East Sussex and Summer Fields in Oxford. Having revitalised its look for 2012 with a new brand identity, Holroyd Howe welcomes Harte at an exciting time for the business as it continues to expand and set a high standard of food service for the independent school sector.

With a career spanning 15 years in hospitality and contract catering roles, Harte’s experience has further strengthened the senior management team and will put him in good stead to oversee the business’ operations across the UK.

Ronan Harte commented: “It’s a privilege to be working with a company that’s thriving in a challenging economy and I relish the opportunity to work with such a highly trained and professional team to deliver the fresh, quality, locally-sourced food that Holroyd Howe is widely known for. Harte brings with him a wealth of catering experience gained from prior senior positions. He also ran his own business for quite a number of years and will bring this entrepreneurial flair to Holroyd Howe as the business continues to grow.
