Rapid Expansion Continues for Aspire

Gateshead-based Aspire Technology Solutions has added a further three members of staff to its rapidly-expanding team with the appointment of two IT Support Consultants and a Voice Consultant.

Gavin Earnshaw, 23 from Washington and James Branch, 33 from Hebburn have been recruited by Aspire in order to boost Service Desk and Infrastructure team resources while Steven McMain, 28 from South Shields has joined the company, taking responsibility for telephony deployments.

Of his appointment with Aspire, Gavin - who previously worked for AMX Europe as a Technical Support Engineer - said: “I’m very excited to be part of such a dynamic team. I’ve only been here a short time but you can literally see the company growing in front of your eyes.

“The nature of the work we do on the Helpdesk has changed so much in such a short space of time and it’s great to be given new challenges on a daily basis. We are constantly learning new things and the work never becomes stagnant.”

James has joined Aspire having worked for a number of IT companies including SAFT in South Shields where he fulfilled the role of Network Engineer. On being recruited by Aspire, James said: “I actually sent my CV to Aspire a couple of times and knew how high their standards are so was delighted to even be asked for an interview.

“Being offered the job was brilliant and I feel like I have joined the team at a busy and exciting time. Business is booming for Aspire, we are winning lots of prestigious contracts and I’m confident I will learn a lot moving forward.”

Aspire’s newest recruit, Steven McMain has come from Ogilvie Communications and brings with him a wealth of telephony experience. He said: “As part of Aspire’s ambitious expansion plans, they have moved into the telephony market and therefore needed someone with experience who would be able to hit the ground running and not need training.

“I have worked for a number of communications companies in the past and saw the opportunity to further my career with Aspire. They are a growing company with a new sales team who are making their mark and bringing in some great projects for me to work on.”
