Prime Time from The Prince of Wales
Unemployment amongst over 50s rises in North East but The Prince of Wales has a solution.
In March 2012 those claiming job seekers allowance amongst over 50s in the North East jumped up to the highest for 12 years to 13,890. The Prince’s Initiative for Mature Enterprise (PRIME) is the only national organisation dedicated to providing everyone over 50, who is workless or under threat of redundancy, with the support to achieve financial, social and personal fulfilment through sustainable self-employment, business or social enterprise.
